with regard to the protection of personal data
pursuant to Art. 13 of Italian Legislative Decree No. 196/2003
In compliance with the provisions of Art. 13 and 122 of Italian Legislative Decree of June 30th, 2003, as well as the terms of the Italian Data Protection Authority’s Simplified Arrangements to Provide Information and Obtain Consent Regarding Cookies of May 8th, 2014 and the Guidelines on the Use of Cookies and Other Tracking Tools of June 10th, 2021, the Iconsulting S.p.A. company, with registered office located in (40033) Casalecchio di Reno (BO), via Bazzanese 32/7, as the Data Controller, informs the www.iconsulting.biz website users of the type of cookies used by it and the purposes for which the acquired information is used, while also providing directions on how to grant or deny their consent—where necessary—and how to proceed with the selection/deselection of cookies.
WHAT COOKIES ARE, AND FOR WHAT PURPOSES THEY CAN BE USED
Cookies are text strings made up of letters and numbers sent to the user’s device by the websites they visit (so-called “first-party” cookies) or by third-party websites (“third-party cookies”), which are sent back to the same websites at each subsequent visit. For example, cookies serve to streamline web traffic analysis or report when a specific site or part of a site is visited, distinguish visitors from each other in order to provide personalized content, and help administrators improve the site and users’ browsing experience. Through cookies, no other information stored on the user’s device can be accessed, although this is where the cookies are downloaded. Cookies cannot load codes of any kind, carry viruses or malware, and are not harmful to the user’s terminal.
Some operations cannot be accomplished without the use of cookies, and therefore, in some cases, they are technically necessary. In other cases, the site uses cookies to facilitate and assist users’ navigation or to enable them to take advantage of specifically requested services.
Cookies can remain in the system for long periods of time and may also contain a unique identification code. This allows the sites that use them to keep track of the user’s navigation within the site itself for statistical or advertising purposes, that is, to create a personalized profile of the user from the pages they have visited and then show and/or send them targeted advertising (so-called Behavioral Advertising).
USER CONSENT
When accessing any page of the site for the first time, the user will see a brief notice about the use of cookies.
Through the selection tools made available, the user will be able to express their consent to the use of cookies by selecting or deselecting the categories of cookies they wish to authorize, in order to take advantage of the possibilities they offer while browsing.
By clicking on the “Accept all cookies” button, the user consents to our use of all the site’s cookies in the manner described in this Cookie Policy. Clicking on “Only necessary” will deny the use of cookies other than technical and strictly functional cookies for the use of the site. Finally, by clicking on the Cookie Settings button, the user will be able to access the selection of non-essential cookies to the use of which they wish to consent.
The site remembers the choice made by the user for 6 months (subject to justified exceptions) on the device used, therefore the brief notice will not reappear during subsequent visits from the same device. However, the user always has the possibility to fully or partially revoke the consent already granted, as explained in the DESELECTING AND ACTIVATING COOKIES section below. If you experience technical problems related to granting your consent, please contact us through the appropriate channels available on this site so that we can assist you.

PERFORMANCE COOKIES (STATISTICS, THIRD-PARTY TRACERS)
This site uses Google Analytics, a web traffic analysis service that makes use of cookies to collect and analyze information related to users’ browsing. Neither the Data Controller nor Google associate your IP address with any other data in their possession to identify you directly. Furthermore, in order to protect the privacy of its users as much as possible, the “_anonymizeIp” option is applied, forcing the system to anonymize the last 8 digits of the user’s IP address in Google Analytics. By doing so, the full IP address is never written to disk (more technical specifications can be found on Google’s support page here).
The information collected is processed directly by our systems in order to produce reports for the Data Controller’s administrators who use them to verify the correct functioning of the services and possibly the satisfaction rate of the content offered.
If you wish to disable statistical cookies, thus preventing Google Analytics from collecting data on your navigation, you can download the special component that you will find here.
SOCIAL NETWORKS (THIRD-PARTY TRACERS)
At www.iconsulting.biz there are special “buttons” (called “social buttons/widgets”) with social networks icons (for example, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.). These buttons, which make use of cookies, allow users browsing the sites to interact directly with the social networks represented by these icons with just one click. In this case, it is the social network that collects the data related to the user’s visit, while the Data Controller does not share any navigation information or user data collected through its site with the social networks accessible through the social buttons/widgets.
